As a part of the Together Again Festival, Finnish empathy artist Enni-Kukka Tuomala invites participants to join a guided exploration of the emotional landscapes around the Kurkimäki neighbourhood in East Helsinki, and the city centre of Helsinki. Using one of Enni-Kukka Tuomala’s unique empathy tools, participants will create their own Map of Emotions in response to both the built and natural environments around them.

Kairos began as an extension of Kihwa-Endale’s artistic practice: as a project aiming to redefine the relationship between artist, audience and creativity. Like all living things, Kairos has been evolving with time and currently is expanding into a collective.
Hosting cultural events, such as workshops, poetry sessions, and exhibitions is the main function of Kairos. Although the events are open for all, they are centered in marginalised narratives.
OsloPost Theatre Collective
The Middle Eastern Bloc podcast, produced by Post Theatre Collective was part of the Together alone 2.0 program in 2022 and this year, Season 3 will be launched at the Together Again festival in Autumn 2023, commissioned by The Finnish-Norwegian Cultural Institute. Norway-based Nelly Winterhalder and Finland-based Lois Armas write this season. The episodes will be sound designed by Saku Kämäräinen and directed by David Kozma.
LondonMinna Henriksson
The first phase of Minna Henriksson’s work for Together Again takes place in collaboration with Frame Contemporary Art Finland at The Showroom in London 25 January – 18 March. Minna Henriksson’s work is presented as part of Editorial Tables: Reciprocal Hospitalities, an exhibition and public programme. The collaboration forms part of the core exhibition and public programme at The Showroom in 2023; Rehearsing Hospitalities, Frame Contemporary Art Finland’s public programme for 2019–2023.
The work will be further developed for the Together Again festival in Helsinki, in collaboration with the Finnish Institute in the UK and Ireland.
NEW YORKMatti Aikio
Matti Aikio’s commission for Together Again is realised in collaboration with the Finnish Cultural Institute in New York, Vera List Center for Art and Politics at The New School and Frame Contemporary Art Finland. Aikio is interested in untangling situations of conflict between Indigenous communities and processes of settler colonialism.

Through a set of intimate portraits, Uwa Iduozee’s project in Bairro do Cerco addresses the intersections between dreams, imagination and community, in the growth process of young people, deconstructing questions of self-perception, contradicting feelings of segregation and revealing the transformative potential of youth emancipation. Uwa Iduozee’s commission for Together Again is realised in collaboration with The Finnish Cultural Institute in Madrid.

HAVE/NEED Forum is an independent, multi-disciplinary event that hosts a series of exchanges between designers, thinkers, makers and artists. The event creates a physical meeting point to collectively learn, share ideas and construct alternative narratives through the extended practices of fashion, art, research, and philosophy. The event is constructed in four threads, each of them presenting a new topic of conversation.
